The Affinity Foundation was born from the shared passion of two individuals with a combined 30 years of experience providing mental health and supportive services. Over the years, we have witnessed how deeply environment influences well-being, and how traditional clinic-based settings aren’t always the best fit for everyone seeking help.

We envisioned a different approach—one that brings mental health care into spaces that feel safe, welcoming, and connected to nature. By moving beyond the walls of a clinic, we create opportunities for healing that are personal, engaging, and life-changing.

Our work is rooted in rural mountain communities, where harsh winter months create additional challenges for vulnerable residents. Here, we combine our professional expertise with the restorative power of nature to make mental health and supportive services more accessible, meaningful, and effective.
